Lustreware is a form of decoration, found on a wide variety of forms on porcelain and earthenware. This website focuses on jugs English, largely from the early and mid 19th century.

This website, very much a work in progress, focuses on stylistic elements. We hope it will help collectors identify regional differences and perhaps even individual makers. Currently the pieces are all part of the Freeman-Heath collection. Our goal is to include other pieces and eventually provide links to 'open' museum websites to see their related collections.
